The main function of this position is to assist the Personal Lines Underwriting team in providing superior service.
Your responsibilities
• Perform data entry of insurance policies in the insurer’s portal:
o Carry out renewal, new business and amendment transactions on the portal
o Validate that the information transmitted by the Brokers complies with that required by the insurers
o Prioritize the processing of transactions according to the standards to which brokers are subject
o Obtain underwriting approvals when required by the portal
o Answer insurer’s questions on insurance policies when necessary
• Carry out premium calculations using an Excel tool and report the results in a summary file
• Request insurer inspections via the various portals.
• Sending insurers’ conditions to brokers via the various audits.
• Support underwriting in their follow-up tasks with brokers.
Your skills, your potential
• Have a professional or college diploma
• At least one year’s experience in an administrative support position;
• Demonstrate autonomy, attention to detail, cooperation and courtesy in working with others;
• Master the Microsoft Office suite and the Windows environment.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills in French and beginner level of English to complete
documentation in English.
