Surety Account Manager

We are looking for a meticulous individual who is passionate about surety and motivated to become a key resource and a go‑to reference for their team. In this role, you will play a central part in operational excellence by actively supporting your colleagues and contributing to the evolution, optimization, and continuous improvement of our practices.

Your responsibilities

• Perform full verification of surety bonds (bid bonds, performance bonds, licenses).
• Ensure rigorous quality control of files prepared by technicians before they are sent out.
• Provide high‑quality customer service by answering questions related to surety bonds.
• Handle client requests in the absence of Account Directors.
• Act as a technical reference for the team and support more complex files.
• Submit approval requests for bid and performance bonds to insurers.
• Follow up on approval requests with insurers.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement (including the integration of AI).
• Prepare presentation documents and keep surety‑related documentation up to date.
• Plan timelines for various surety bonds.
• Work closely with the team to ensure rigorous follow‑up on files and perform any other related tasks.

Your skills and potential

• College diploma (DEC) combined with 5+ years of experience in the surety field.
• University degree (an asset).
• Enjoy teamwork and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, analytical skills, and respect for rules and procedures.
• Solid computer skills (Windows and MS Office).
• Bilingual (spoken, written, and comprehension) to ensure an inclusive client experience for English‑speaking customers.
