The essence of this role is to manage personal lines property and casualty brokers, while maintaining and developing a volume of business under management.
Your responsibilities.
- Manage brokers, supporting them in various aspects of their work and ensuring their well-being.
- Support the achievement of the team’s objectives by monitoring statistics and file audit results on a daily basis, while providing appropriate coaching.
- Participate in the department’s business development, notably by being responsible for a specialized team.
- Participate in networking with our various partners and customers.
- Coordinate the management of absences, schedules and vacations with the Human Resources Department.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop the full potential of the team under management.
- Conduct performance appraisal meetings.
- Participate in representing the company at job fairs, CEGEPs and universities.
- Participate in all stages of hiring of members under management.
- Participate in various administrative and disciplinary meetings in collaboration with the Human Resources team.
- Manage a managed volume.
Your skills, your potential.
- Have a completed University certificate.
- Possess a certification as a general insurance representative from the Autorité des marchés financiers.
- At least 3 year’s experience as an insurance broker.
- Must be available to travel to branches twice a week.
- Must be bilingual to ensure an inclusive customer experience for English-speaking clients.
