The primary objective of this position is to propose and sell personal property and casualty insurance solutions that meet the needs of customers who own or are destined to own high-value assets. As such, you will be called upon to develop a business volume that reflects your image, to establish relationships of trust with your customers, to offer consistent customer service and to ensure customer loyalty.
Your responsibilities.
- Analyze, understand and identify customer risks and needs.
- Advise customers by explaining and simplifying insurance.
- Propose solutions adapted to your customers’ reality.
- Negotiate on behalf of customers with various insurers.
- Establish a relationship of trust and build customer loyalty.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with our insurers (canvassing).
- Occasionally travel to meet customers.
- Be involved in the claims process.
- Be familiar with all products and services offered by the various insurers.
- Be on the lookout for opportunities and develop a business volume that reflects his/her image (solicitation, networking, referrals, cross-selling, etc.).
- Attend corporate events, get involved in partnerships and sponsorships.

Your skills, your potential.
- An Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in property and casualty insurance, a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or a Bachelor’s degree (BAC).
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as an SAP broker.
- Hold or have an interest in obtaining your license with The Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
- Be motivated by sales, solicitation and customer service.
- Ability to present, negotiate and close sales.
- Good priority management, work organization and autonomy.
- Be bilingual (spoken, written and understood) to ensure an inclusive customer experience for English-speaking customers.
