Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, understand, and identify client risks and needs.
• Act as an advisor by explaining and simplifying insurance concepts for clients.
• Recommend solutions tailored to each client’s reality.
• Negotiate with insurers on behalf of clients.
• Build trusting relationships and ensure long‑term client loyalty.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers (prospecting).
• Occasionally travel to meet clients.
• Participate in the claims process.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services offered by various insurers.
• Stay alert to business opportunities and develop a portfolio that reflects your strengths (prospecting, networking, referrals, cross‑selling, etc.).
• Attend corporate events and participate in partnerships and sponsorships.
• Deliver a unique client experience aligned with the values of Lareau Insurance Brokers.

Your Skills & Full Potential

• Hold a bachelor’s degree (BA).
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience as a SAP broker.
• Hold, or be interested in obtaining, a license from the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
• Be driven by sales, prospecting, and customer service.
• Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and sales‑closing skills.
• Demonstrate solid priority management, organizational skills, and autonomy.
• Be bilingual (spoken, written, and comprehension) to ensure an inclusive client experience for English‑speaking clients.
