The primary objective of this position is to support commercial insurance brokers in the daily execution of administrative tasks in order to support their sales force. You will be called upon to develop technical skills in property and casualty insurance and to provide customer service worthy of Lareau values.
Your responsibilities.
- Prepare presentation documents (service offers, renewal comparisons);
- Participate in renewal planning in collaboration with the various brokers;
- Respond to various requests for modifications and insurance certificates;
- Verify contracts upon receipt;
- Prepare billing instructions for new business, renewals and endorsements;
- Update various lists and proposals following change requests;
- Be available in the absence of brokers to respond to customer requests;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Your skills, your potential.
- A college diploma or equivalent;
- Hold or have an interest in obtaining a “General Insurance Representative” license from the Autorité des marchés financiers in the near future;
- Have between 2 and 5 years’ experience in the insurance industry or in a similar administrative position;
- Enjoy teamwork and customer service;
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills, as well as respect for rules and procedures;
- Good computer skills (approx. Windows and MS Office);
- Bilingualism (spoken, written and comprehension) to ensure an inclusive customer experience for English-speaking customers.
